Rafael Nadal advanced to the Australian Open quarterfinals for the 13th time with a 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 win over Fabio Fognini on Monday. Also reaching the quarterfinals was Daniil Medvedev, who needed just 1½ hours to stretch his winning streak to 18 matches.
